Race in the beautiful Cowichan Valley!

The Cowichan Challenge takes place at Fuller Lake Park in Chemainus. The race has a friendly, relaxed vibe just the like the community where it takes place

The swim is in the calm waters of Fuller Lake. The bike course follows scenic country roads in the Cowichan Valley. The run is on trails in the Municipal Forest adjacent to Fuller Lake.

Race Distances

Standard Course – 1500m swim – 40K bike – 10K run

  • Sprint/Junior Course – 750m swim – 20K bike – 5K run
  • Aquabike – 1500m swim – 40K bike
  • Youth 6/7 – 50m swim – 2K bike – 500m run
  • Youth 8/9 – 100m swim – 4K bike – 1K run
  • Youth 10/11 – 150m swim – 6K bike – 2K run
  • Youth 12/13 – 200m swim – 8K bike – 2K run
  • Youth 14/15 – 300m swim – 10K bike – 3K run
